Growing up I enjoyed Model United Nations, professional wrestling, writing short stories, golf, The Rat Pack, and the Philadelphia Eagles.  Those interests might not seem to blend together to form a cohesive personality or worldview, but they defined much of my adolescence and early adulthood.  Fortunately, I was surrounded by friends who had similarly diverse interests, which served to expand my own. 

 

The Pleth is a website for people who have wide-ranging interests and can slip seamlessly from reading about political theories to analyzing football coaching trees.  I cannot guarantee that each piece will pique your particular interests, but I can promise that each one will be authentic to the worldview of the writer and will provide analysis and commentary you will be hard-pressed to find elsewhere.
